Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A foreign man, suspected of being drunk, was flying along at high speed in his Camry car when he hit a rock barrier in the middle of the road, crushing the car and injuring the driver.
The accident happened at 3:00am on July 27, 2022, along Monivong Street, corner of Street 360 in Sangkat Boeung Keng Kang III, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh.

According to sources at the scene, a foreigner, possibly a Chinese or Taiwanese national, was driving a sugar-colored Camry Hybrid (with license plate Phnom Penh 2BI-4127) along Monivong Blvd. fast and furiously, when he hit the road divider at full speed. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Those dividers save lives, better a road divider than someones car or bike or even a shop.
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

They constantly move them; which I contend increases chances of an accident. Not denying they save lives, mind you

But it's possible to be in lane, driving along and next thing there's the end of a barrier coming straight toward you because they made a new lane for people to turn left at a traffic light, at the expense of the left lane in opposite direction

If they were central to the streets, as they used mainly be, there would be less cars hitting them head on

The handle of the right back door might still be in decent shape.

Nah, considering it almost always happens in the early hours it's more likely because they are drunken fucking idiots who can't see straight.

Maybe so, the barrier position not always being central definitely doesn't help
