Foreigner Phone Snatching Gang Arrested in Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On January 09, 2019, at 09:30 am, an unidentified western woman got her phone snatched while she was walking on street 102, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh. Five habitual phone snatchers were arrested.
Before the incident, the victim was walking along, using her phone on street 102. Then two suspects rode up on a Beat motorbike to snatch the phone from the victim. The victim screamed for help; the local people chased the suspects causing the suspect's motorbike to fall over. The police arrested one of the suspects named Kak Lyhor and sent him to the police station.
After questioning the captured suspect, the police went in search of the others. On February 09, at 07:30 pm, two suspects were arrested behind the night market: Theng Songhim, 18 years old, and Mao Vuthey, 17. Then on February 10, at 2 am, the rest of the gang were arrested in Khan Chamkarmorn, in Koh Pich, Nov Jam, 18, and Vuthy Darong Roth. The gang of thieves specialized in always snatching from foreigners.
After arresting the five suspects, the police confiscated two phones and three motorbikes. The victim left the scene by taxi and didn't file a compliant.

When they catch these blokes and they have motto's siezed, what happens to the motto's?
Sold and money goes to consolidated revenue?
Used by government agencies in poorer areas of Phnom Penh?
Kept and divided among the officers at that particular station?

if the moto is used in a crime they keep it at the polce station as evidence until the trial.
