A foreigner found dead at Bilabong Hotel

Phnom Penh: According to Ann News, A Canadian man found dead at Bilabong Hotel located on street 158, Beoung Rieng commune, Daun Penh district, around 9:00 am on 11 December 2015.

The deceased is identified as Auclair Patife, 47 years old, Canadian. He came to stay at above hotel since 07 December 2015. Police is investigating the cause of the death.
According to Ann reporter, there was a foreigner found dead in the hotel room and he was staying with his partner, also a foreigner.

PS. The reporter couldn’t get further information from the owner of the hotel as the owner of the hotel didn’t allow them to get in and also prevented them from taking pictures.

Good on the owner of the Billabong hotel not letting the press scum in to take pictures.

I wish more hotels would show some respect and follow the lead of this hotel.

A Canadian man found dead at Billabong Hotel

Phnom Penh: according to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, a Canadian man found dead in a hotel room at Billabong Hotel located at house number 5, street 158, Beoung Rieng commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh. He was found dead on 11 December 2015.

The police confirmed that the deceased named Auclair Patife, 47 years old, Canadian. He came to stay at the hotel since 07 December 2015.

One of his friend told police that, before his friend was found dead, he (the deceased) sent him a message saying that he was not feeling well. He had respiratory problem and he needed oxygen provider. Then when his friend arrived at the hotel, he was in critical condition. His friend contacted the ambulance to take him to hospital and when they arrived the hospital. The doctor said he already died.

The deceased had asthma and lung problem. Police assumed that he died from heart attack.

Getting back to the thread. His name was Patrice Auclair. He was a very nice guy and died way to young.

Oh crap. I knew him a little bit. Very nice man. Believe he lived out near Sovanna Mall, if it's who I think he is. RIP Patrice.

Patrice was the Principal at the Arizona school Exphenman yes it was him.

He died from lung cancer.
