30 Foreign nationals arrested in anti-pornography sting
Let this serve as a glaring reminder that Cambodia is not Thailand, and pornography (both production and possession) is strictly illegal in the kingdom:
While this won't even put a dent in commercial pornography, at least it will do a lot from discouraging this filth being made in this kingdom.

Police from the Penal Department in the Ministry of Interior are searching for other suspects involved in the production of pornography after authorities arrested 30 Chinese nationals in Phnom Penh on Tuesday conducting the illegal activity
Brigadier General Mom Chek, the Spokesman of the Penal Department in the Ministry of Interior, said yesterday that the police are checking on apartments rented by Chinese nationals in Phnom Penh who are suspected to be related to the group of more than 30 foreigners arrested on Tuesday.
Police officers are continuing the hunt for other foreigners in provinces across Cambodia, Bri Gen Chek said.
“We are continuing our search for the suspects, who are thought to be involved in this case. However, I cannot say anymore as the case is still under investigation and it remains confidential,” he said.
Touch Sokkhak, the Spokesman of the Ministry, said yesterday that within the new Government’s Pentagonal Strategy Phase I, the Ministry has six priority goals to combat and eradicate all forms of crimes in Cambodia.
Sokkhak added that the goals are eliminating drug trafficking; reducing traffic accidents; preventing thefts, robberies and penal offences; eliminating human trafficking; cracking down on gangsterism, and addressing land, water and border issues with neighbouring countries.
The arrest of more than 30 foreigners on Tuesday night in Boeng Keng Kang district was an implementation of two of the six goals of the Ministry, he said.
According to the police report, 30 Chinese nationals, both men and women, were arrested for their involvement in the production of pornography.
They were arrested after police forces led by the deputy prosecutor raided a condominium in Boeng Keng Kang district’s Boeng Keng Kang I commune in Phnom Penh around 8pm on Tuesday.
The sting operation was conducted after police received a complaint from two Cambodian women, who claimed that they were persuaded by a group of Chinese nationals to participate in making a pornographic film in exchange for money.
The police seized the film making equipment and several pornographic videos. The suspects have been detained for further questioning at the Ministry.

'...eradicate all forms of crime'?
Seems reasonable.

Two of the six...water issues and...??

They were 'persuaded' to make a porno, but decided in exchange for cash? Then later complained to the police?
So, the money was not enough?
The police seized the film making equipment and several pornographic videos. The suspects have been detained for further questioning at the Ministry.
