Five $3 Massage Parlors Raided in Kampong Speu

Cambodia Breaking News (Kampong Speu): On the afternoon of May 11,2019, Samrong Tong police collaborated with the department of human trafficking and minor protection, when they raided five massage parlors looking for sex workers, and detained a total of 15 masseuses and four owners, in Ohkrang Ambel village, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu.

According to Mrs. Ngen Sokhunthea, a deputy director, police organized the crackdown after receiving complaints from the local people that those massage parlors were providing sexual services.

The 5 massage shops targeted were:
1. 919 massage shop, had two massage rooms, five massage ladies, the owner named Porn Samphos, 33-year-old woman.
2. 99 massage shop, had three massage rooms, two massage ladies, the owner named Eang Sareum, 27-year-old woman.
3. Dara Reas massage shop, had three massage rooms, five massage ladies, the owner named Srey Leak, 38-year-old woman.
4. 167 massage shop, had two massage rooms, three massage ladies, the owner named Chen Rum, 28-year-old woman.
5. 7777 Vimean Sok massage shop, no details.

The police confiscated many condoms which were new and used. The massage owners and the ladies were sent to the department of human trafficking for questioning and case preparation.
