Fire at petrol station, Preah Vihear province.
Breaking news tonight: a fire has broken out at a petrol station in Preah Vihear province. Fire engines are on the scene.
Nice spectacular photos from Freshnewsasia.

We used to call this a "weeny roast." You just get out the hot-dogs, put them on a stick and roast them until it burns itself out. On the other hand in America, unlike here, we had fire-fighting equipment. From what I've seen of fire departments here, they are pretty pathetic and corrupt. Kind of like the local traffic police in SKV and elsewhere.

Sailorman didn't you notice all the Fire Trucks arriving in SHV a few months ago.
The above OP says "Fire engines are on the scene."
Sounds like Fire Trucks made it to Preah Vihear province.

User: They may get fire trucks donated, but no equipment/training to go with them so they are next to useless. I see a fire here in SKV or pictures elsewhere and I see firemen in flip-flops, no fire resistant pants or sometimes no fire resistant coats (we call it turnout gear) , no proper fog nozzles, no SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), or much of anything else.
After a fire at the local market near Charley Harpers ,I saw the first truck deploy so he could get trapped by the fire and didn't put any water on the fire. After a long time they finally put a little water on the fire. After the fire, the first truck came over my CH and hooked up a two and a half inch fill hose to the truck to replace the water they had used. The fill hose had so many holes they couldn't fill the truck.
I hear that the firemen are paid so little they have to hold second jobs. Obviously its the usual those on the top pocket the money and no trickle down.
