I'm not really seeing that logic, although the massive gut of the copper is mostly blocking the view. Why is the tuk-tuk not at the RHS of the road? They appear to be moving into the centre of the street to avoid the obstacle, which would suggest they are on the right and not overtaking something.

the tuk tuks are coming towards us, which means they are on the (correct) right hand side of the road, the camara man is facing the on coming traffic

Thats exactly what I said as you look at the picture the oncoming traffic are to your left of course to the people driving towards us it is their right.

I cross that bridge quite a few times a week and there are always a lot of motos overtaking the cars and squeezing into the small gap between oncoming traffic. Occasionally they cause the car to swerve to avoid collision, sometimes they don't make it! From what I know of the bridge and the photos of vehicle damage, the moto is the most likely cause of the accident.
