Tickets will be 40,000 Riel for foreigners and 1,000 Riel for Cambodians.

How much is it for the palace in Bangkok? I definitely don't think the palace is worth anything near $10, though I suppose tourists keep going because they figure they kind of have to, being here already and what not.

I agree, it's a pleasant enough place but not terribly impressive. The palace in BKK is 500 Baht.
I guess with all the tax breaks given to the peasants, the government needs to look for alternative sources of income. Angkor entrance fees will almost double.
