Phnom Penh, Cambodia: Nabil Sami Mallah, an English teacher at BELTEI International School from Lebanon died in rented room after he went missing for 4 days.
A Lebanon man, Nabil Sami Mallah, born December 10, 1952, was found dead in a rented room after he disappeared for four days. His corpse had been found because the smell came out from his room. So when people unlocked the room, it surprised everyone.
His corpse found dead on 27 February 2015 in a rented room on third floor at kakab commune, posenchey district.
According to his document, this foreigner names Nabilsami Miallah, male, 62 years old, Lebanon, a teacher of foreign language. He used to teach at beltei international school, then moved to teach at sovanaphum international school. Then recently, he moved again to teach at beltei school. In addition, he has a Cambodian wife with one kid. However, authorities don't know where is his wife is right now.
This foreigner disappeared for 4 days. Nobody knew where he had been until on 27 February 2015 when a factory who stayed close to his room smelled it from his room, after she came back from work. So they were curious and sneaked through his window. Then they found him dead lying on the bed facing to the ground. So, they reported it to the police.
After the police came to check his corps, they said that no bruises or marks found on his body, so they believed that he died from an illness (something related to his breathing).

When I read that first time I thought the Lebanese was found in kebab commune. It's a worry staying on your own how long it will take people to discover you should the unfortunate happen, even though I'd be dead I don't particularly want to decay longer than necessary. RIP.

Take note of the location of his hand. He was obviously in pain. I would say food poisoning.

I remember this guy. He stayed at my place for a week or so till he got himself a teaching gig and an apartment. I doubt the death was drug related as from what I can remember he didn't even smoke weed.
The missing wife seems a bit odd.... wonder if there's anything in that.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that they just couldn't be contacted that very instant, but have since tracked them down.MekongMouse wrote:I hope the wife and kid don't find out through the news... that would suck.

His son has gotten in contact with me. He is trying to locate the hospital where they have taken his body, but is having trouble doing so.
The article doesn't say. Any guesses or info? I'd "guess" Calamette?
I'm sure any ideas would be helpful.
