Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On March 18, 2019, at 09:00 am, a 26-year-old man, Chen Makara, the Vice Principal of Sas Languages school, was arrested at his rented house in Sangkat Chom Chao, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh. He was charged with raping a 15-year-old student.

On the evening of December 20, 2018, at 7:40 pm, the young girl went to study at Sas Language school in Sangkat Teuk Thla, Khand Dongkor, Phnom Penh. The vice principal of the school then asked her to take a motorbike with him to hang out together. Then the suspect took her to Phnom Meas guesthouse and convinced her to have sex with him. After that, he told her not to tell anyone.
Then on December 24, 2018, at 12:15 pm, the suspect called the victim to help him to prepare some stuff in the office, and when she arrived , he raped and threatened her.

On March 16, 2019, at 2:30 pm, the victim's family suspected that something was wrong with the girl, she was acting strangely quiet, only staying in her room, and she told her sister that she wanted to die.
Her family knew there was a problem, and finally the girl told them what the vice-principal had done to her. On March 18, the victim's mother went to the police station and filed a complaint against the suspect, who was detained for questioning.
