Not clear to me whether they were just buying or whether they were buying and selling. If pushed I'd say the article is suggesting they were buying and selling.

You guys rock! Muchos gracias!

Seems they are just a bunch of drug users (not that there's anything wr...).

I expect drug dealers to have a lot more weight on them. You shouldn't even show up to a friend's house with only 17 grams of shitty weed and a small baggy of coke. It's just bad manners.

So just to add to his already enormous problems as of today he doesn't even have a valid passport?

Maybe that's the American formatting of the expiration date, and it doesn't expire until later this year, duh. . .

Well, my guess is that "somebody" has an urgent need for tea money for the upcoming Chinese New Year. Going to cost them around $ 10.000 I'd say. On the other hand......times are changing and I really would like to advice everybody to stay away from illegal substances.

Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

Normally our passport is invalid if it is less than 6months. What is American formatting of expiration date?

Passports are still valid until the actual expiration date, but maybe countries refuse you entry if your passport is valid for less than 6 months.

I assume they do this just to avoid any hassles with you if your passport happens to expire while you're there.
