Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia Suspends Visa Services Due to Lockdowns until April 28, 2021

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

From The US Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia:

"Due to the lockdown implemented in Phnom Penh and Ta Khmau, the U.S. Embassy will be suspending all non-immigrant and immigrant visa services until April 28. Applicants with appointments during the lockdown period will be contacted to reschedule their appointments.

Emergency and routine consular services for U.S. citizens remain available regardless of the lockdown implemented in Phnom Penh and Ta Khmau. American citizens will be able to keep their appointments during the lockdown period. Please remember to print out a confirmation of your appointment to facilitate travel to the embassy. If you would like to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment, however, please do so online or send an email to [email protected].

U.S. citizens may use our online system to request passport appointments here, although wait times may be longer than usual due to limited capacity. Persons seeking CRBA appointments should follow the instructions on our website and send documents in advance to [email protected]. "

Thank the lord that missus got her visa (after almost 2 years) and made it out.

My prayers go to everyone still stuck waiting in the VISA line.

Please stay safe out there.
