Electric wires explode unexpectedly in Phnom Penh street
Phnom Penh: A pillar of light passed through a stream of fire, causing a shock to the people living and selling nearby at 09:00pm on November 21, 2017, near the Kuung Hong factory, Preah Monivong Blvd The Stung Treng, Khan Chamkar Mon, when some electric cables caught fire in the street.
A noodle vendor, who was right by the wires when the explosion happened, said that people were sitting enjoying their noodles when some huge sparks fired out of a nearby tree, causing a big surprise for the customers and nearby people. Everyone came out to look at the unusual fireworks display.
However, no harm done; the fire was reported to the authorities and was soon extinguished. The Cambodia Electricity company came to check the damage and reported that there was minimum damage to the electrical street wiring and nothing to worry about. Phnom Penh residents can be reassured that everything is safe as houses.

Re: Electric wires explode unexpectedly in Phnom Penh street
PHNOM PENH - An electric cable fire broke out after 10 pm on March 24, at Mao Ze Tung Blvd, Street 230, in Teuk Laak III, Khan Kolok, Phnom Penh.
Spectators in the street were treated to a free sound and light show as the electric wiring caught fire above their heads and created a small explosion. Police and firemen were on the scene rapidly, the danger was contained, and there were no injuries.
