Exactlythat genius wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 5:45 am He handled the aftermath pretty well, I thought. Stayed reasonably calm and just used lack of logic to baffle people interviewing him.
I didn't hear anyone saying 'Yeah, you have a licence, but you also have to respect the laws, once you break the laws, the licence is meaningless, it's not a licence to drive drunk'.
“The Swiss national is clearly drunk in the video as he desperately tries for 20 minutes to tell the cameraman that he has no interest in discussing a payment amount for the damage he caused to others property. Unless, of course, it came directly from the police, as he's a law biding citizen and he will handle it no other way but through them.”
“He allegedly ran over the other vehicles on Street 51 near Golden Sorya Mall, but managed to pull off a hit and run for a few minutes and made it all the way to Wat Phnom before rightfully angry locals caught up with him, stopped him and roughed him up a bit.”
Obviously being a law abiding citizen doesn’t include obeying the Road Traffic Law, with respect to the consumption of alcohol and escaping from the scene of the accident. We’ll overlook the “driving the wrong way down a one way street” for the moment!
Extracts from the Law on Road Traffic
Article 77: Any persons, who are driving under the influence with alcoholic rate of 0.40mg or above per liter of air, or 0.80g or above per liter of blood, shall be subject to being imprisoned from one to six months and being fined from Riel 800,000 to Riel 4,000,000.
The above offenses shall be subject to being imprisoned from one to three years and being fined from Riel 4,000,000 to Riel 15,000,000 should they be committed in any of the following cases:
b. driving the under influence with alcoholic rate of 0.40mg or more per liter of air, or 0.80g or more per liter of blood,
c. resulting in injuries to numerous people,
d. escaping from the accident scene to avoid being held responsible,
I would have thought that in those circumstances waiting until the police showed up,would be highly risky, unless of course he had 'friends" in the right places.

This whole thing was obviously an elaborate class activity for apprentice chefs, he was teaching them how to cook their own goose.

At least one student of Markus Kalberer at Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia knows about this, as they posted the following on CEO's Facebook:
"hes my teacher lol rip
Cambodia Expats Online, yup he's like the principal there. he manages everything
Cambodia Expats Online, and by teacher, i meant he teaches us how to cook"

Need to add " He cannot drive for shit, especially when pissed, enjoys nights out with his bar girls and has wife on speed dial when trouble rears it's ugly head. He has a rebellious nature and sometimes challenges the norm by driving the wrong way on one way streets. He is a masterful orator who can talk for 20 minutes and say nothing. He can dribble shit with the best of them"

The truth at last. Cheers. Could you give an approximate estimate of the damage? Two black eyes, and a broken rib?.bobsboots wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 12:29 pm I saw this accident. I was sat three feet away in a cafe. The car hit the back of a motorcycle trailer and pushed it into 2 tuk tuks. Nobody was injured . The car stopped for about three seconds, then the driver hit the gas and sped off down the street leaving a rather irate mob behind.
