Drunk Swiss Expat Caught in Hit & Run with "Girlfriend" on Street 51; Wife Shows Up & Things Get Weird

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

It looks as though the Filipino wife is well aware of her husband's philanderings.

Haha, I think she says, "I know but I don't care..." at one point, talking about the bar girl skank.

So, we still don't know what business or organisation he's a director of. A pity.

And 10 mins in she says his name. Sounds like Markus Cabaret or something.

HAHAHAHA! Ok, I guess I hadn't watched the whole video yet, but it's straight GOLD at about 18 minutes!

The wife and the girlfriend are going at it with Marcus in the middle. He seems way too cozy with the girlfriend while the wife is running around trying to fix this fucked up situation for them all.

At one point he even pushes the wife away:

I also see the wife asked him if he was drunk, and he says yes.

Then the crazy Khmer chick starts banging on the SUV saying something like, "you can't see me?!?!?"

And then the girlfriend starts talking about pictures and money, and the wife takes all the bait and even starts yelling Arabic to the poor bar girl, "Alhamdulillah!!!", which means ""Praise be to God."

Image

Him "shushing" the bar girl is pretty classy too.

18 minutes and later, PURE GOLD, I tell you! Image

Ah, Markus Kalberer isn't just a lowly teacher. He's the dean.

His LinkedIn profile says he worked in Manila, so that fits with him having a Filipina wife.

Haha, you rock, Cam Nivag! A positive match indeed.

To me, I think all 3 of them are totally nuts. It could have been a pretty boring story if he, his wife and his girlfriend just SHUT UP, but they all run their mouth for the cameras when three was no need at all.
