Drunk Swiss Expat Caught in Hit & Run with "Girlfriend" on Street 51; Wife Shows Up & Things Get Weird

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

I love how calm and judicial he's explaining the reporters how he got his Cambodian licence through the correct legal procedure etc, while his wife and his hooker is having a go in the background. He's so calm. It's almost admirable.

What time did this happen? Looks like I just missed it

He handled the aftermath pretty well, I thought. Stayed reasonably calm and just used lack of logic to baffle people interviewing him.

I didn't hear anyone saying 'Yeah, you have a licence, but you also have to respect the laws, once you break the laws, the licence is meaningless, it's not a licence to drive drunk'.

Great street drama... despite his drunken night out with the local gf.. running over a few motorcycles and tuk-tuks and having his wife and daughter turn up to his self created schemozzle. He then calmly faces the searching questions of the local media and puts out spot fires between gf and wife.. all with the solid understated regularity of a Swiss watch..

So how did this drama end. Did he and his wife, with his daughter and girlfriend, all drive away and celebrate with a few drinks,,,,, or will they leave that till New Years eve.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I saw this accident. I was sat three feet away in a cafe. The car hit the back of a motorcycle trailer and pushed it into 2 tuk tuks. Nobody was injured . The car stopped for about three seconds, then the driver hit the gas and sped off down the street leaving a rather irate mob behind.

That man's wife Filipina wife conducts herself with such class compared to the Cambodian Skank in the car that from here it seems ridiculous that he's associating with her. Of course, I can't know the circumstances of their respective relationships, but what a muppet for knocking around with such trash!

Fucking drunk drivers! Wish he’d got a decent beating, might make him think twice about driving drunk again.

Thankfully this time no one was injured or killed
