Drunk PassApp Driver Passes Out with Gun, Gets Arrested

Cambodia Breaking News(Phnom Penh): On August 28, the police arrested a drunk PassApp tuk-tuk driver sleeping in in his PassApp in the middle of the road, on street 1007/1966, Sangkat Phnom Penh thmie, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

The police went to the scene to wake the man up and found a gun in his bag. The drunk mand didn't wake up, so the police drove his tuk-tuk and took him to the police station. When arriving at the police station, the man woke up and told the police that he had a party with his friend. The police are continuing to question the man.

What is a "PassApp"?
It's like an Uber or Grab type of tuk tuk.

Well, I know Siem Reap like the back of my hand and there are usually no Tuk-tuks near my house so yes, I have no regrets using WhatsApp; just like I use Grab elsewhere in Asia to avoid endless arguments with taxi drivers. Of course hordes of taxi and tuk-tuk drivers are unhappy; they got away with scamming people for long enough.

Yes, exactly. And btw you still need to know the lie of the land when you use PassApp because the fare is not pre-determined (unlike with Grab where you can relax and let the driver use whatever route he pleases). I prefer the remorque tuktuks to the Indian ones, they are more enjoyable to ride and safer (RIP Channty).
