that mad monkey owner was the one spamming local businesses with offers of good reviews on TA abt 2 months ago.

caused quite a stink. he was charging hundreds.

Haha, Bob Tetler works at/owns Mad Monkey Hostel.

He has been sending me threatening messages on Facebook since we first had a story about Mad Monkey Hostel linked to that guy who was selling fake reviews on TripAdvisor.

I told him I know he was upset only because of that story, which he denied. This proves it, LoL.

It absolutely amazes me that both Steve and Bob keep this story alive. They have to have the last word and defend their business but by doing so, actually, cause more damage.

And whats with him wanting me to go around and meet with him. FFS all I did was post the story and point out a few home truths!

Interesting stuff.

Why was she running around the hostel at 1 a.m. if she wasn't staying there?

Also, I wouldn't be inclined to believe someone who says "She was drinking in our party hostel that night, and she fell off the roof of our party hostel that night, but trust us, she got drunk somewhere else."

The place is fill with random people in and out literally 24/7 esp during the high season like this. In other news, Bob just shared how he had a great burger and fries early today at a budget guest house on a FB group.

Hahaha! ! The owner of Mad Monkey Hostel's version of the story is laughable! ! !

Thanks for the drama ****** - But the real story is that the girl was not drinking much at The Mad Monkey, walked out sober at 10pm , she was not staying at The Mad Monkey, came into our hostel wasted at 1am in the morning sporting a different T Shirt, one that I am reliably informed you get for drinking two buckets in Pub Street ran past the security and up to the roof of the dorm ( Not the bar) and then "fell off" - apparently she may have been suffering from depression as well as a skinful of booze. It was the security team at Mad Monkey that stopped her being moved (first aid trained) which is probably why she can still walk and called the ambulance. So there you go, feel free to drop in any time and we can show you the CCTV, I would certainly love to meet you."

So, we are supposed to believe a western female backpacker left Mad Monkey sober, got drunk, came back to Mad Monkey, broke past their security, ran upstairs, then proceeded to jump off the balcony? ! ? ! Comedy gold right there.

Good stuff, Living the Riel Life! !
