Phnom Penh, Cambodia Breaking News: In the early hours of October 19, 2019, two cars driven by Chinese nationals collided on Hanoi road in Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh.
The accident occurred between a white Carnival car, Phnom Penh license plate 2BB-1271, driven by a Chinese man, and a black car, Phnom Penh license plate 2B-2636, driven by a Chinese woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, according to witnesses at the scene.
It seems that the drunk woman drove straight into the rear of the white car at high speed.
Fortunately, nobody appears to have been badly hurt in the accident. Police have towed away the two vehicles, pending further investigation.
The Khmer media outlets are commenting on the numbers of road accidents caused in Phnom Penh by Chinese drivers, who are often drunk, or who do not have a driver's license.
