One of Cambodia's most wanted drug criminals was living peacefully in smalltown Stung Treng for years without being "recognized", then gets arrested when he comes to Phnom Penh. :chin:

Police nab fugitive drug gang leader
Buth Reaksmey Kongkea / Khmer Times

Anti-drug trafficking police from the Interior Ministry on Saturday arrested the mastermind of Cambodia’s biggest drug gang who had been on the lam for more than four years and who was sentenced in absentia to life in jail for trafficking about 55 kilos of drugs worth $3 million meant for sale to Taiwan in 2015.

Lieutenant General Mak Chito, deputy National Police chief in charge of anti-drug affairs, identified the man as Dam Nha, 53, living in Stung Treng province’s Stung Treng city.

Lt Gen Chito said that Mr Nha was arrested at about 4pm on Saturday by anti-drug trafficking police in Phnom Penh’s Chamkar Mon district.
