Drowned Woman Found on Riverside
Re: Drowned Woman Found on Riverside
They used to drag bodies up to the top area and leave them there for hours for people to gawk at.

If you look at the stain at the back of the head, it could be miscontrued as blood, but having visually seen it, it looked more like frothy bile/sick. I dont know but i think she may have been alive when pulled to the side and was sick when maybe someone tried to revive her or someone else was sick next to her. I dont know. When i got there she was left alone there and dozens of people were taking fotos including what looked lkke reporters. I saw an ambulance turn up, do nothing then leave after maybe 25 minutes, and return maybe an hour or so later. After 2 hours i left mekong river restaraunt which is where i was sat initially. The body was still there, finally covered up, but hadnt been removed by anyone. Nor did any official person look interested.

Well that's super depressing, I guess our foreign skin will prevent that from somewhat happening to us.. RIP to her, she was someone's baby once upon a timeSoriya wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 6:48 pmIf you look at the stain at the back of the head, it could be miscontrued as blood, but having visually seen it, it looked more like frothy bile/sick. I don't understand all the name calling on here, not only in this thread, but so many others.
Grow up people!

Photos are always helpful so that the armchair medical examiners on here can then offer their opinions about how the person really died.Frankl wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 5:10 pm You only have to read my initial post ,it was a simple normal RIP with a well known quotation from John Donne, it was respectful to the deceased. So I'll ask again, "Why would you even need to add the photo to that story? The woman is dead, but you asked for the photo, does it add to the content, like it somehow explains something"?

As a new member, you probably don't realise that there are members on here who like to look at pictures of dead bodies, as completely bizarre as it sounds to most peopleFrankl wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 5:10 pm You only have to read my initial post ,it was a simple normal RIP with a well known quotation from John Donne, it was respectful to the deceased. Perhaps they have been in Cambodia too long, and acquired the local populations vivid interest in looking at & taking pictures/videos of dead bodies, as a form of entertainment

UPDATE
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A woman brought food to her husband, who was a security guard at a construction site near the river, and the two also drank alcohol together before she died at 1:20 pm on June 5, 2021, on the riverfront in Phsar Kandal I, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
According to the woman's husband, prior to the incident, his wife had brought him food and rice wine at a construction site along Preah Sovath Road in Phsar Kandal I, Daun Penh district. They shared the meal, then suddenly, after a while, his wife said she was too hot and would take a bath by the river. After his wife had been missing for over half an hour, he became concerned and went to look for her, only to find that his wife had drowned on the river bank.
After receiving the information, the police arrived at the above location and contacted the forensic experts of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to examine the body, which confirmed that she died due to drowning. The body was handed over to the family for a traditional ceremony. RIP.

Now that’s strange. The husband found his wife drowned and didn’t feel compelled to either stay with her body or to cover it up in any way.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 11:23 pm UPDATE

What a bunch of bullshit. He probably throttled her and threw her into the river.
