Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A murder case was reported to the local authorities at 5 pm on January 13 2021 in LH RESIDENCE condominium, Room A1003, 10th floor, located along Street 9, Village 5, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.
Two people were killed in the attack: 21-year-old Chou Hui Seng, the girlfriend of the second victim, 38-year-old Sieu Pop, chairman of a steel company, who were both staying in the same condominium room.
It is believed that the killers were staying in room A901, 9th floor of the same condominium building, and that they were both armed.


According to police, the male victim was strangled to death by one of the suspects , while the female victim was suffocated with a mouth and nose gag by the other bandit. One body was found on the bed and the other in the bathroom.

In this case, it appears that the killers were staying in the same condominium, according to security cameras, but unfortunately the condo owner does not have a copy of their passports. In relation to the above case, the criminal police officer of Chamkar Mon district said this morning, January 14, 2021, that after the competent forensic examination that this is a case of double murder.

Residents of the LH RESIDENCE condominium building now fear for their safety, saying the condominium location is insecure.

On January 13, Cambodian media reported that two Chinese citizens were murdered in an apartment building in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh. CCTV cameras captured the chilling last moments of the two as they were taken into the apartment against their will by two men with a weapon.


The victims have been identified as a 38-year-old man from Guangdong by the name of Xiao Bo (肖波), and his 22-year-old girlfriend. The two had just met a few months ago. Xiao was locally also known as ‘Bobo’ (波波). The man and woman reportedly were first held hostage and then brutally killed by two gunmen in an apartment on the ninth floor of the Phnom Penh building. The incident happened on January 12 in the LH Residence (澜海总裁公寓) apartment complex. The cleaner found their bodies, after which the police were alerted.
Some media report that Xiao had previously sought help because he was being chased by ‘enemies.’ Cambodian police are currently investigating the case.

Let's hope the killers are found and sentenced by the authorities of Cambodia or China. I would hope not to be reading of this type of crime in the very near future.

They should enforce much harsher penalties

but unfortunately the condo owner does not have a copy of their passports.

So, westerners have to deal with half a fucking dozen police officers rocking up to their residence just to see that the westerner is registered with the FPCS........

.........whilst Chinx are renting condos without so much as a copy of a passport on file?

Hey Cambodian police......instead of fucking with us so much.........how about doubling down on the efforts to keep your wonderful Chinese guests in line.
