Domino's Pizza enters Cambodia

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Domino's Pizza enters Cambodia

Post by VLayHo-ho-ho »

Move over Pizza Company. Sit down Sarpino's. Bye bye Pizza World...
Yep, as the title states, one of the Major franchises in the world of pizza: Domino's, is starting up in Phnom Penh, with its competitor Pizza Hut promising to open year on year.

Yeah, they did mess up a few that's for sure. I always bought mine from a wood oven place - way better than Dominoes.

First of all, there is no E in Domino's, the Franchise began at Domino Farms Office Park, hence the name Domino's.

Bingo. I knew I'd read something weird about Domino's lately:

"Domino’s founder turning FL town into unconstitutional contraception-free ‘Catholic enclave’"

First of all, when you start a paragraph with first of all you should list more than one point.

Secondly, I didn't spell dominoes, my keyboard did. I didn't care enough to check/correct it.

Thirdly, Dominoes (spelt incorrectly) would be a perfect trademark infringing company. There's already been KFC (Khmer fried chicken) and I can certainly remember a restaurant down in Sihanoukville that used the golden archers many years ago...

Hey if this means that Pizza World, Pizza Company and all the other small local pizza companies are forced to shut down.

Is that the Domino's Effect!!
