Desperate Woman Tries to Give Away her Baby
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On November 1, 2018, police took two women to the police station for questioning after getting a report that they were walking around the city with a two month old baby for sale.
After questioning, police determined that 26-year-old Vong Sreymach, a widow, and her godmother, San Rim, had walked around Kbal Domrey village looking for someone to take in Sreymach's 2-month-old baby. The police realized that she was not selling the baby, but was searching for an orphanage.
The woman said that after living with her husband for a year, her husband had died after getting bitten by a snake when she was five months pregnant. Now her baby boy is two months old, but she is unable to look after him because she is so poor. She wanted to give her baby to the orphanage near the Russian hospital, but they wouldn't accept it. So then she took the baby and went around asking the villagers for help.

This is indeed very sad. Time to reflect on how lucky most of us are.

Over 80% of the world population lives on less than $10/day;
over 50% of the world population lives on less than 2 US$/day;
over 20% of the world population lives on less than $1.25/day.
Look in the mirror, what makes you so special? The luck of being born in the top 20%. Half the world lives on what a bottle of beer sells for.

at least this child was born and not murdered...
what they call a choice in USA is only a choice for the female....she can murder the child or force some MAN to pay for it for 18 years....he has no choice.
I think the kid is lucky....
I suggest you switch to canned beer....and donate the difference ....

I could point fingers at more than one male who has coerced a female into having an abortion.j57 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 5:28 pm at least this child was born and not murdered...

Perhaps she does not want to have to pay bridewealth in the future when he needs to get married. In Cambodia, it is more profitable to have daughters because when they are 22 and ready to get married I can charge 10000USD bridewealth for each girl.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 10:53 am Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On November 1, 2018, police took two women to the police station for questioning after getting a report that they were walking around the city with a two month old baby for sale.
