Deaf Man's Coworkers Kill Him for his Gold Tooth
Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): On April 28, 2020, 5 suspects were arrested after murdering a deaf man and stealing his motorbike, a necklace and gold tooth, in Ou Takol village, Mokul Borey district, Banteay Meanchey.
On April 30, 2020, General Lieutenant Ath Khem, police chief, reported that the victim was a deaf person, and the suspects were his neighbors and coworkers, who deliberately murdered and robbed him.
He said that before the incident, the suspects asked the victim to drink together and they made him drink a lot. Then, they moved to drink near the canal until the victim was very drunk.
After that, they used a wooden stick to hit the victim and strangled him with a belt. They choked the victim by putting his head into water in the canal until he was dead. After killing the victim, they removed the gold tooth from his mouth. They took the body on the motorbike to throw in the canal in Sangkat Makak, Serey Sophon city.
The murderers escaped and hid at a woman's house (wife of one of the suspects) in Kampong Chhnang. After receiving the information as to their whereabouts, Lieutenant Ath Khem led the force to arrest all the suspects. The specialist police are preparing the case for court.

Re: Deaf Man's Coworkers Kill Him for his Gold Tooth
This has got to be a contender for the most horrific/disgusting/sordid crime reported on CEO this year.
The suspects look like kids, and I bet the deaf guy thought they were his friends. They sat around drinking with him, and all the while they were setting the guy up for a horrible death and planning to pull out his gold tooth.
You get used to reading some way out there stuff on CEO news, but WTF, I mean really wtf. (Words fail me.)
