It's gonna look good by next weekend, they're even painting lines on the new roads Then it's all gonna turn to shit in no time cause it's shoddy work...no, actually seems the roads are getting better as it's the third or forth time they lay asphalt, but they always seem to come back and cut half of it out to fix shit then re patch it and it doesn't last, just happened jn front of the square and Nakorn Samrith this week.
Independence beach looks pretty good too, new seahorses and a few other statues, they're redoing the park, putting up a stage for the head honchos as that's where the boat ceremojies will be,etc. Only problem is they brought in new sand and leveled it right up to the new curb instead of putting down a grass buffer, so there's tons of sand on the new road already.

As of today's wanderings there are prolly 60-70 - 8'x8' spaces complete with port-a-lets being setup for I do not know what along beach rd. from the lake to dolphin rd & up the new & not so improved swordefish/dolphin roundabout.
Looks exciting!
Cept for the prolly bankrupt condo construction directly across the street.
SHV is changing rapidly.
Chinese Yuan spends good here. I swear the place is looking cleaner than I've ever seen.

The Cambodian-Vietnamese statue & park area across from the Royal Residence is looking good as well.
There are many 8' tree limbs planted at Victory Beach & Hawaii Beach. These are not saplings but just 8" sticks stuck in the ground in an orderly fashion. Time will tell.
