Construction Worker Steals Gun and Ammo From Cop
Cambodia Breaking News (Phnom Penh): A 29-year-old construction worker was arrested for stealing a gun and a phone from a police officer on July 23, 2019, at 12:30 pm, in Derm Sre village, Sangkat Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh. The victim was Meach Chantho, a 39-year-old police officer.
Before the incident, the victim kept his gun CF-89 no.005884 and an iPhone in a drawer inside the house where he was having some construction work done. When he went outside to check the construction work, the suspect went inside to steal the gun and phone then ran away.
On July 28, at 05 pm, the police arrested the suspect in Takmao city and confiscated the stolen pistol and a magazine with 7 bullets. The police sent the suspect to the police station to be charged with theft.
