A construction worker might have lost both of his eyes in a landmine explosion

Banteaymeanchey: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News: Around 02:20 pm on 13 November 2015, a construction worker was seriously injured and he is more likely to lose both of his eyes in a landmine explosion. He was defecating and he found a landmine. He didn’t know what it was, so he took out the pin which caused it to explode resulting in serious eyes injury and as well as his body, said by police. Recently, he is being hospitalized at Cambodia-Japan Friendship hospital.

Province: As of 02 pm and 10 pm on 13 November 2015 that the man, a construction worker was seriously injured while sitting shits in a vacant land, especially chhkeah suspect (mines) cause explosions shook, his eyes can Disabled 2 only once and also is in an emergency, according to the Chan Vuthy Ranariddh, president of Cambodia Japan Friendship Hospital Mongkol.

Yet another Darwin Awards candidate. In this country, how can you not know what it is if it has a pin that can be removed?

Same news as on previous thread I think ? Two slightly different accounts of what seems to be the same story. Hard to believe that there were 2 idiots s(h)itting on landmines in the same district in the past day or so.

I can't remember if i was educated about all these weapons and how dangerous they are when i was at primary school up to high school. However, it i was educated, it was not that much about these weapons.
