Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 1:20 pm on October 24, 2022, a man who was driving along the 50-meter road in Prek Pranak village, Sangkat Cheung Ek, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh on a motorcycle trailer was hit from behind by a cement truck and was killed immediately when he was ejected on to the road, landing on his head. Another man was seriously injured when the trailer crashed into his motorbike, which was traveling in the same direction as the other vehicles.

The 26 years old accident victim was Lim Sangha, residing in Damnak Chnoul village, Sre Knong commune, Chum Kiri district, Kampot province. The motorcyclist who was seriously injured was named Chea Bunrith, 38 years old, a civil servant living in Borey Kamakor village, Sangkat Cheung Ek, Khan Dangkor.
According to sources at the scene, they saw the victim driving a motorcycle trailer along the road, when a man driving a cement truck drove up fast from behind the two victims, ramming into the motorbike trailer with force which then collided with another man riding a watermelon-colored Honda motorcycle.
As for the cement truck, it drove away from the accident scene without slowing down and disappeared.

After the event, the victim who was seriously injured was taken to the hospital by his relatives, and the body of the deceased man was handed over to his family. The police of Choeung Ek Administrative Police recorded the incident and towed away the Honda motorcycle and motorcycle-trailer to be kept by the traffic police of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police.
