PHNOM PENH - A 59 year old Colombian man, GONAZLEZ MARMOLEJO JAIME, was arrested at Phnom Penh International Airport by the Cambodian anti-narcotic and immigration forces for drug trafficking at 20:55 GMT on October 12, 2017.
The suspect was caught with over 3 kilos of cocaine concealed in his luggage.

Phnom Penh: The judge of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court has announced that a 59 year old Colombian man, GONAZLEZ MARMOLEJO JAIME, has been sentenced to life imprisonment and a 50 million riel fine to the Cambodian government for trafficking 4 kg of cocaine, according to Article 40 of the Law on Drug Control of Cambodia.

On 15 October 2017, the judge detained the suspect on charges of drug trafficking from Colombia to Cambodia through Phnom Penh International Airport. The suspect was found guilty as charged, and has now been sentenced to life imprisonment.
