Yes you are right. First the jacket and stocking cap came off and then the sweater. While I am comfortable in a tee-shirt and shorts there are still some locals dressed like Nanuk from the North in the KC area.

warmer again now. supposedly another tropical storm forecast to arrive tuesday
it is a cat 1 cyclone at present but is expected to weaken

Bit dumb I am afraid. Global warming is causing the ice caps to melt and the ice on Himalayas and other mountain ranges. this causes changes in the wind patterns and strength because wind is created by temperature differentials. So the UK this year had unseasonal warm air from the wrong direction and we have unusually cold air reaching us. Global warming leads to ocalised increses and decreases from the norm, unles your Donald Trump or some other lunatic who thinks it is all a Chinese plot. Most of the dmage the Chinese cause is by burning dirty Australian coal, so thank the Aussies for freezing your nadgers off

As I stated previously on this thread, it is quite normal at this time of year to have a few chilly days. (With or without global warming).

An elephant named Milo fell over in Mondulkiri province and was unable to stand up because of the cold weather. A chubby white woman with long dreadlocks was sent in to help.
