Sorry FLB if this is a stupid question.

If the wind is strong and the bees get caught in it can they find their way back to their hive or only know a short area around it.

If strong winds approach do you "lock" them up?

they will fly up to 4 km in windless conditions. if the weather turns bad while they are out, they just rest under a leaf. they have a precise fix on the hive location.
no need to lock them in.
when the bee - eaters ( birds of genus meriopsis ) are here in the morning, they stay in.

Even I am feeling the cold. It's so bad it has affected my brain and my thinking.

While walking along riverside I bumped in to a girl I've known for 2 years. She has a baby about 8 months old and she was shivering in the cold . Boyfriend/husband , gone, no job, no money, sleeping on riverside,,, So like any other old idiot would do ,, I took her home with me.

I spent from 11.55 pm on 31/12/2015 ,,, until 0.10 am on 1/01/20116 with her in compromising position, [ 2 years ago.] We both missed the fireworks display on riverside.
