In another raid this morning, Immigration police detained 7 Vietnamese nationals on St 136
Phnom Penh: On the morning of June 26, 2018, at 9:30am, Phnom Penh Municipal police combined forces with immigration officials and Daun Penh security forces, to inspect passports and documents of Vietnamese nationals working in a cafe at St 136, Daun Penh.
Lt. Lieutenant Chetra said that there were 7 Vietnamese nationals, including two women, who were detained for having illegal documents. They were all taken to the General Department of Immigration to carry out the proceedings of the law.

16 Vietnamese and 1 Nigerian Detained in Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh: On July 10 at 9:05 am, investigators from the Department of Immigration coordinated by Mr. Seang Sok, the prosecutor of Phnom Penh Court, went to inspect the immigration documents of 17 foreigners who were suspected of living and working illegally in Khan Chamkar morn, khan Brampi Makara, Phnom Penh.
The authorities arrested 16 Vietnamese nationals, including 5 women, and 1 Nigerian man, for living and working in Cambodia without the adequate documents. All of them were taken to the Immigration Department to have their cases processed.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On August 14, 2018, at 9:30 am, the investigation arm of the Immigration Department , coordinated by Mr. Seang Sok, the prosecutor of Phnom Penh court, arrested 13 Vietnamese nationals, including 7 women, who were living and working illegally in a craft and coffee shop in Sangkat Prek Pra, Phnom Penh.
The 13 Vietnamese, who were arrested for living and working without passports or correct documents in Phnom Penh, were all taken to the immigration department for their cases to be processed.

17 Vietnamese were arrested for residing illegally in Phnom Penh
September 1, 2018
Phnom Penh, Cambodia news: A police crackdown on illegal immigrants took place on September 1, 2018, at the residence of foreign workers at Street 2002, Sangkat Teuk Thla, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh. 17 Vietnamese, including six women, were detained after they were discovered to be living in Cambodia without the correct documents.
The 17 Vietnamese detainees were sent to the General Department of Immigration to have their cases inspected by the authorities.
