Chinese tourist drowned on Koh Rong Sanloem

Preah Sihanouk province - Authorities report in the first report that a foreigner died at 14.15 pm on November 15, Koh Rong Samloem Sihanouk Ville.
According to a police report the deceased has been identified as JIANG QIMING, a 79-year-old Chinese male tourist.

Before the accident, the foreign man boarded a boat on Koh Rong Sanloem with Sihanoukville as the destination. There are reports that he had been drinking heavily on the island prior to falling in the water, but the cause of death was heart attack induced by drowning. Foreigners on the scene attempted to revive the drowned man to no avail. RIP
