Chinese Murder Suspect Arrested in Phnom Penh for Deportation

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): According to the orders of the director of the Immigration Department and the coordination from Mr. Kuch Kimlong, the prosecutor of Phnom Penh court, the forces of the Department of Investigation and Procedure arrested a 22-year-old Chinese man, HUANG CHENYANG, who is wanted for a murder committed in China.

After the Chinese authorities notified their Cambodian colleagues, on 17 August 2020, the wanted man was detained at Orussey 1 hotel, building no. 14, street 111/198, Khan 7 Makara. The police confiscated three phones, an iPad, two luggage, 17 rings, a bag, 2 ID cards, 10 ATM cards, and two sim cards.

The suspect with the evidence was sent to the Immigration Department.

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On September 29, 2020, under the indication from Lieutenant Keath Chanthareth, the director of the immigration department, the department of investigation and procedure collaborated with Phnom Penh International police to deport a Chinese male national.

At the request of the Chinese authorities, a Chinese man named HUANG CHENYANG, 22 years old, was arrested on August 17, 2020, because he is wanted for committing murder in China. The raid was led by Mr. Kuch Kimong, the prosecutor of Phnom Penh court, and the Ministry of the Interior issued the deportation order. The wanted man has been banned from Cambodia.

The suspect took a flight no. CZ8314, departure at 12:05 pm on September 29, 2020.
