Chinese Man Extorted by Cambodians Pretending to be Cops
Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): Sihanoukville police arrested six men for pretending to be police officers in order to extort money from a Chinese man.
On September 08, 2020, at 11 pm, a Chinese man filed a complaint at the police station. He said that on September 6, at 11:30 pm, five men who wore civilian clothes in a car and two motorbikes told him that they were police and asked him for money while he was driving his car in Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
The police said the suspects checked the victim's car and dropped a packet of drugs in the car to accuse the victim of drug trafficking. Then, they told him to give them 4,000 USD, otherwise, they will send the victim to the police station. The victim was scared, so he called his wife to borrow money from his friend. He got 2,300 USD, which he gave it to the suspects, and he promised to give them the rest of the money later.
After receiving the complaint, the police searched for the suspects and arrested 6 of them on September 8, 2020, at 7:30 pm. The victim was identified as ZHANG KANG, a 29-year-old Chinese national.
The suspects were identified as Oun Bros, 27 years old, Hak Panha, 30 years old, Chen Bunthoeun called Reach, 27 years old, Chomroeun Leangmeng, 27 years old, Sim Sokda, 30 years old, and ZHOU DONGYA, a 30-year-old Chinese man, a taxi driver. The Sihanoukville police are preparing the case following the legal procedure.

How long until Cambodians form anti-Chinese liberation groups? When I last flew out of Siem Reap my driver could not pull in front of the entrance due to a coach of Chinese tourists. Wasn’t an issue at all, we just pulled up behind the coach. My driver said, “If these Chinese come to Siem Reap and try to do like they did in Sihanoukville I’ll get an Ak-47 and kill them all, I’m not afraid to die.”SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 3:14 am "Fifth amendment loving Cambodian patriots assist police in operations against free-rioting Awful Foreigner Immigrant Drug-selling Arseholes" (AFIDA for short))

One TukTuk driver so therefore he speaks for whom?
Chinese culture is entrenched into Cambodian culture. We’ll be AK’d long before they will.

Interesting shirt:

1. That is not me on his shirt!
2. The police will take a very dim view of this racket - they will not put up with any competition in their extortion games.
