Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: A 4 2 year old Chinese national, identified as Zhang Jingsen, from Macau has been arrested for wearing a genuine RCAF Military uniform of a 1 star General. He was arrested at Shanghai KTV.

According to Zhang Zhang Jingsen, his friend went to pick him up at the airport in a Lexus SUV that he borrowed from his military friend. When Zhang got into gut car, the RCAF military uniform was just in the car, so he put it on for fun and took some pictures and videos to share with his friends on social media. After the pictures and videos went viral, he was arrested.

The owner of the SUV and military uniform has also been detained for questioning.

Chinese businessman held for uniform breach
A 42-year-old Chinese businessman was arrested on Monday for wearing a military uniform with the one-star rank of a brigadier-general before being released yesterday after signing a contract.

Chang Jing Son, who lives in Preah Sihanouk province, was detained late on Monday at the Zhang Hai Karaoke Shop in Sihanoukville. After his arrest, military police seized a luxury vehicle bearing military number plates.

“He wore the RCAF military uniform with the brigadier-general rank. He drove a luxury car with military plates to drink and sing karaoke,” Mr Sopheak said. “The uniform confused the public into thinking he was an RCAF military official.”

“He was arrested by provincial military police at a Chinese karaoke shop,” he added.

He said the suspect told police the car had been rented from a military official in Phnom Penh.
The vehicle has been confiscated and has been sent to the provincial military police headquarters for further investigation.
