Chinese Man Arrested for Scamming in Siem Reap
Cambodia News (Siem Reap): On December 1, 2020, at 02 pm, the police went to Kulen Residence and Spa in Sangkat Slor Kram, Siem Reap, and arrested a Chinese man named WU SIHAN, a 31-year-old man.
Lieutenant Chea Kimsan, the deputy director of the Immigration Department, said that on June 25, 2020, at 11 am, the suspect rented a Honda Click 2016 motorbike plate SR2V-0752 for 9 USD per day. After getting a motorbike, the suspect disappeared, and the owner was unable to contact him.
On December 1, the police arrested the suspect, who didn't pay for the motorbike rental. According to the order of Mr. Kert Sovannareth, the prosecutor of Siem Reap court, the suspect was detained for case preparation.

Re: Chinese Man Arrested for Scamming in Siem Reap
Chinese scammers are caught in 6 months of committing the crime and deported.
Khmer scammers are caught much faster after committing the crime and sent to Prey Sar.
Barang (aka foreigner) scammers (aka James Whitlow), take over 2 years to catch. With a great many scammed. Yet gets bailed out.
Do the cops have a double or triple standard in catching crooks? White lives matter more than others and allowed free to roam longer?
Random musings.
I’ll put my tin foil hat back on, now.

What do you think happens when they get back to the PRC? My guess would be jail and then a low social credit score which will prevent them ever traveling abroad again.jaynewcastle wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 11:47 pm and will be deported & banned for just the normal 3 years, as the Chinese are
Silence, exile, and cunning.
