I thought about it after I wrote it and realized it's probably because there are few westerners worth kidnapping anyway.

I thought about it after I wrote it and realized it's probably because there are few westerners worth kidnapping anyway.
There was the guy in the suitcase.

But the perps were never identified.

I think e was a drug deal gone bad, not a kidnapping.

A few years back the cry in Snooky was "The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!" I thought they were digging in, buying up property. But after some factional warring they seemed to have disappeared. Here's hoping history will repeat with the new gangsters.

Preah Sihanouk police on Thursday sent 10 Chinese nationals to pretrial detention after they reportedly beat up two of their countrymen unconscious and tried to kidnap them.

Soth Sam Un, chief of the provincial minor crime bureau, said the suspects were online staff at Di Hao Casino in Sihanoukville. They were arrested on Tuesday afternoon after beating two other Chinese men, who were online staff at New Golden Wealth casino, and trying to kidnap them.

The suspects drove to the victims’ place of work in a van, and upon arrival targeted the two men, beat them and bundled them into their van. After seeing the incident, security guards phoned the police, who gave chase and pulled them over.
