Chinese Gang Arrested After Daring Daytime KTV Hold Up

Cambodia Breaking News (Sihanoukville): Seemingly unafraid of the law, an armed gang of about 7-10 Chinese men drove up, robbed, and attacked staff, at Palace KTV in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, on September 16, at around midday.

The group of 7 Chinese men went into the KTV lobby and attacked a 29-year-old man, LONG HUAYOU, who was working behind the desk. They grabbed US$2000 from the woman cashier and drove away in their Lexus 570.

Following an inquiry, the Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie arrested six of the suspects, who were recorded on the KTV cctv cameras, and they are still searching for at least one other suspect in the case.

The six suspects are all Chinese nationals:
Feng JiaLi, male, 27 years
2. Liu Hao Male, 27 years old
3. Shi Chunbe Male, 33 years old
4. Liu Sang, 38 year old male
5. Luo Kuang, 33 year old male
6. Nw Hoog, 46 year old male.
The suspects were also discovered to be in possession of drugs.

Some of these recently arrived gangsters are pretty brazen. It's like they really don't give a fuck, even wearing ridiculous T shirts and tight pants you can spot 100 meters away. Do they want to get caught? Or are they just really determined to do anything to succeed and never go back to the PRC?

They're hardly criminal masterminds with this haul netting gang members a stellar $285 a piece. They'd have been better served stealing a phone each.

Why would you go in with 7 guys to rob a KTV? I suspect something else is going on in this story. A big time robbery (?) and one guy is standing there with his hands in his pockets, another looks like he is checking text messages on his mobile. The photo from outside the front entrance looks like they are all walking in to get beer. There is nothing that looks "daring" in this story. Yes, drugs do help people make bad decisions but why in the middle of the day - alot more cash on hand at night?

Im surprised this doesn't happen more often. Are the KTV's protected by the local cops, like the strip clubs in TJ?
