61 Chinese Deported to China from Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 8, 2020, the immigration police deported 61 Chinese men and women through Phnom Penh International Airport.

Lieutenant Vatanak Mongkol, director of the Investigation and Procedure, reported that General Lieutenant Keat Chantahreth, director of the General Department of Immigration , collaborated with Phnom Penh airport police to deport 61 Chinese nationals, 55 men and 6 women, to China on two special planes.
The police received the suspects from the department of commercial Anti-Crime Division. They were arrested for participation in online crime, and were banned from returning to Cambodia for 3 years.
