Seems to me they were providing a service and making a bit of cash. What is the Cambodian Red Cross doing?

I’m assuming that it’s a PCR amplification rest. Pretty useless unless they are selling to labs that have micropipettes, centrifuges, and the like.
There is a test being developed that can be self taken and only requires an iPhone to obtain the results.

I'm going to hazard a guess that a couple of Chinese people selling corona testing kits on the streets of Phnom Penh probably aren't super legitjaynewcastle wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:21 pm I assume its illegal to sell such kits in Cambodia then ?
Just a hunch
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

I wouldn't imagine there is any specific law about kits, but there are laws about selling goods under false pretenses. I'm not sure where it is in the penal code but freaking out the general public with BS tests would get you in a world of shit with the authorities, like it or not.jaynewcastle wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:21 pm I assume its illegal to sell such kits in Cambodia then ?
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Apart from the legal issues I would not mind if airlines would test (if reasonalby safe result and affordable) all the passengers before boarding (in case I would jump on an airplane right now which I highly doubt). At least it would pick those out who are apparently positive and a risk to other passengers. Not sure if the airfilters in the aircraft clean out all of the harmful stuff. But I would never buy them from two chinese standing in front of the airport.
work is for people who cant find truffles

Abbott just announced test with 15 minute results. Must be chemically based. (My conjecture.). Texas governor just announced it and he’s taking a chunk of them for the hospitals in Texas.
Eventually there will be enough tests for airlines to use on their passengers. But it’s going to be a while.
