well the end of the article certainly is! that lake has not been used as a local water supply for some years now which is just as well as it ran dry just 2 years ago....go back to 2011 or 12 when it was still in use and it ran dry then and anyone on town water rather than well water had to order water tankers to deliver water...

meanwhile as the report says the water comes from up near the waterfall where there are much larger lakes than this one ...

Its right behind Independence beach and unless they whack all the trees down will make a good shaded area for tourists ...but good chance high rises will ring the lake.....

The Environmental Impact Report must say there would be no effect on the environment and the fish [ ing ] in the lake ? But I still wonder how a hard or soft title can be issued for land under the water. Would the Navy have send underwater divers to measure the land before filling began ?

It's been coming from Kbal Chhay for a while now as I remember the pipe broke not so long ago. Hopefully pulled from the upstream side of the resort thing or it'll be 50% tourist piss
