A chairman of Professional Orientation Department has been stopped from his position
Phnom Penh: Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has decided to fire a chairman of Professional Orientation Department of Education, Youth and Sport Ministry after he was accused of abusing a Korean female interpreter.
According to a proclamation in this afternoon, stopping Mr Kri Seanglong, a chairman of Professional Orientation Department of Education, Youth and Sport Ministry from his position has been accordance with the general status of civil servants of Cambodian law with guideline in effect.
Mr Kri Seanglong had been sent to Korea for a seminar and on the last day of it, he was accused of abusing a Korean female interpreter. This case, Korean Republic police have taken into legal action.
To solve out this problem, the offender had borrowed his colleague's money as well union's to compensate the female interpreter due to civil; however, since it is the rule, Ministry of Economy and Finance did not allow to take the state's budget to handle personal matters of the individual. Though it is so, the money he borrowed from the union, Mr Kri Seanglong had already paid back.
