Careless Driving Causes Crash in Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville - A Cambodian national working as a security guard was seriously injured by a traffic accident between his motorcycle and a Chinese-driven car at a point near HE's primary school at 1 pm on May 11, 2019.

Do cars put on their turn signals routinely to indicate they are about to turn?
As an eternal tourist to Cambodia, I don’t think I’ve seen this happen. Or maybe it should happen, but happens so little.
Also how does a moto that was carefully following behind an SUV, get stuck on the front wheel?
Just like the previous poster pointed out.
Hopefully more news will be forthcoming.

The Cambodian motorcyclist was probably passing the car on the 'inside'... after the Chinese car driver slowed down, didn't signal and swung left before making a right turn.

That and the fact that it is incredibly common to turn right from the leftmost lane, or left from the rightmost lane.

Careless driving. Obviously no one here has been riding round the streets of SHV lately.! Just getting to A to B for anywhere across town is a nightmare!. I see careless driving by Chinese and Khmer. Always have from Khmer. Now I see mostly reckless driving from those with bigger vehicles. Mostly Chinese who don't seem to follow any rules or care! Accidents and fatalities every week!
