I have had a couple mystery episodes over 5 years that left me on the bathroom floor thinking I was gonna die. In both cases I fully recovered by morning. It didn't seem to be food poisoning either because in my experience that makes you flow from both ends and that was not the case. Otherwise, I never get sick and eat street food and at Khmer places all the time. I feel fortunate.

One favorite Blood Thinner Barangs take is: ASPIRINE !

That however you should not take in the TROPICS like Cambodia because your blood is already substantially thinner in this hot climate than let's say in Sweden, Germany, France or UK. Alternatively most people i know (westerners) take Paracetamol instead. That of course has other serious risks as explained here:

Your Liver could be damaged if you take this drug too long or too much of it.

It probably arose because blood clots faster in cold temperature.
