Canadian national, Michel Ducharme, found dead in Sisowath hotel, PP
27 January 2017, a 71yo Canadian tourist (male) was found dead in his hotel room at Harmony River Hotel, 337 Sisowath Quay, Chey Chomneah commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh. Michel Ducharme entered Cambodia on 16 December on a one month tourist visa which had expired on 16 January 2017. He arrived at the Harmony River Hotel on 25 January and then reportedly went to a hospital for a health check.

DOB 20/11/1945. No suspicious circumstances reported, but no confirmation of cause of death as yet. He was found in his room by hotel staff and the body was taken to the Russian Hospital. RIP.

You have to wonder what he was playing at, why was he still in the country 2 weeks after his visa expired ?

They don't stamp "USED" on it until they issue a new one/extension, so he must have got an extension. Just photocopied the wrong one.
