I can NOT believe this!

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

I don't know why the Journalist guy goes all communist halfway through, what a massive hypocrite.

He's making a living working for NGW which is owned by 21st Century Fox documenting Chito and Poncho.

He makes his living off of them being interesting. Why can't Chito and Poncho make a buck off of it?

I wish the crocodile would have eaten the journalist for being so dense.

Agree, that was stoopid.

Maybe he din't like the competition.

I'd still shoot one if I saw it anywhere near where humans routinely hang out.

That guy in Grizzly man was just plan stupid! A bear is a meat eating machine and you are a big lump of meat. Normally though a bear will go away from you, but if they are hungry, pissed off, just out of hibernation, or with cubs, you are in deep shit. I've had 4 confrontations with bears (20 years in Alaska.) Two with black bears who just wanted me out of their territory, two with Grizzlys who wanted me for lunch, but both times I had a skiff right by me to get away in. I ALWAYS carried a big gun. BTW/ Grizzlys eat black bears if they are hungry. While I hunted Moose every year for meat, hunting bears really didn't interest me. The meat isn't that good and when you skin them out, they look like a human.

I would imagine meeting a grizzly would be frightening.

But a polar bear? I think I'd just faint...scary motherfuckers!

A number of years ago an Eskimo kid from the Point Barrow area on a snow-machine killed a polar-bear with a 22cal pistol. He shot the bear from his snow machine, retreated, reloaded, shot some more, retreated, reloaded, shot some , more etc, until the bear was dead.

BTW/ The eskimo's are allowed to take polar bears in the US for subsistence and they use everything, same with whales. Shooting a bear with a big gun is scary enough, but a kid with a 22cal (Ruger semi-auto) pistol. Eskimo's are a tough breed of people and a world apart.

Perhaps he needs glasses?

Jeez, a.22?

Great for head/heart shots, but a .357 magnum handgun would do the job better.

Or both barrels of a 12 gauge, solid shot, full choke, no mistake.

My old man was at a zoo, maybe in Australia, when a guy decided to commit suicide by jumping into the polar bear enclosure. Horrific picture as the bear was smelling him, right on his face...iirc, maybe 1973.
