That will certainly add a little "je ne sais quoi" to the experience. :hattip:

Anyone know what had 10+ fire engines screaming out towards the airport on Monday night?

I was progressively parking along Russian Boulevarde while the fire engines tried various methods of moving along it, but mostly just got caught in traffic.

You know that thing where nationals drive like greater idiots after dark, and the same if it's raining, but driving in the rain at night is not stupid plus stupid, but rather stupid times stupid? Add in 10 fire engines with lights and sirens. In peak hour. With a foot of flooding.

Got caught like that once sans the fire engines. Took me a good 2 hours to go from Friendship Bridge to 240 Street. I was hoarse from shouting expletives by the time I got there...

The Cambo firefighters pictured are probably the only ones in the country (that I've seen) that have the proper "turn out" gear. I still don't see any SCBA air pack breathing equipment. You go into a fire to save someone without an SCBA there will probably be two victims of the fire. Fire engine on the left looks like the one that an America brought to Cambodia and gave away a few years ago The nozzle on the end of the ladder is probably the only one in Cambo able to put out a fog/semi-fog spray. All the fires I've seen in Cambo where the firetucks were at (mostly Snookyville), they were squirting a solid stream of water from a distance (useless) and the "firemen" were in flip-flops, shorts and maybe some kind of fire coat. Lucky most everything here is made of concrete.
