Cambodian Celebs Test Positive for Covid-19
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On March 10, 2021, four stars belonging to Cambodia's Hang Meas Production entertainment team have announced that they have tested positive for Covid-19, and the Hang Meas company has asked everyone who has been in contact directly or indirectly with these people to get tested as a precaution.
The Hang Meas cluster has so far seen four celebrities infected. The first one from the studio who was detected was its entertainment presenter Chan Keo Nimol, who tested positive together with her husband and daughter.
The second victim is Nob Bayarith, a popular male singer in Phnom Penh.
Then, today, on 10 March, two female artists working for Hang Meas have announced on social media that they have also tested positive for coronavirus and will be isolating.
Sokun Nisa, a popular singer at Hang Meas, announced on her official Facebook page that her test result has come back positive today.
“There are 7 people in my household, but only I tested positive for the virus,” the 37-year-old singer wrote. “However, my family will still have to quarantine themselves for 14 days.”
Vy Daneth, another female singer signed with Hang Meas Studio, also tested positive for COVID-19, according a statement by Cambodia’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
All the statements from the Hang Meas celebrities on social media are very upbeat, as they assure their fans that there is no need to be worried, and they are all getting good medical care.

Re: Cambodian Celebs Test Positive for Covid-19
IMO it's a good thing that these "celebs" are posting on social media that they have Covid. A lot of the population follow these people on social media, and when they see that, even though these famous people have the virus, they are actually fine, well that can only be a good thing in the "don't panic" department. Helps to counter the official messages of alarm and doom.
